I can’t really say anything about Callie except that she annoyed the hell out of me, and her constant, pointless slut-shaming or just girlfriend-shaming, to be honest did not help me sympathize with her character.

Either way, I would recommend everyone jessics read it and hopefully enjoy this wonderful story as much as I did!!! Sorensen out did herself with this one.
It’s there, a memory in my mind, something I always remember, and can never erase. I saw that the author has put on Goodreads that there will be another book for Callie and Kayden and I can’t wait!
Prem is a recently married teacher who is neither very good at teaching nor at being married. It brought me up. Yes, there were couple of times where one or the other freaked out and ran off. Her interaction with Caleb shows how much she has progressed and is one of my favourite parts of the book. Kayden wants to thank her for what she did and that’s how they start getting to know better each other. If you have any inclination toward New Adult reads, this is one I would pick up for sure.

Callie and Kayden are well and truly together in this book and watching them navigate life is so sweet. Even though about Callie and Kayden have known each other for years, going to the same school.

As jesssica the last Jessica Sorensen book the secret of Ella and Micha there wasn’t an ending but just a “see how this finishes in ” and leaves with a major cliffhanger. But after a year of emotional turmoil Rose no longer has any ties back home, and she relishes the challenges of a new start.
It was either them saying things 15 year old couples say to each other or having sex. However, it was only a matter of time before the usual slut-shaming started to creep in, making it increasingly impossible for me to care for our formulaic protagonists.
I like seeing Kayden get to know his older brother and how his family issues come back in this book. Ever since Callie Lawrence’s 12th birthday, she has been different. A “it’s okay not to be okay” kind of coincidwnce where the protagonists names are Callie and Kayden.
I was hurting for him so much. And it picked up right where the first book jexsica off Whatever had been going through Cameron’s mind when he was jsssica, he didn’t look peaceful in death.
